DESOTO COUNTY, Fla. — Two semi trucks are involved in a crash that’s closed down SE Highway 70, according to Florida Highway Patrol Public Information Officer Lieutenant Gregory Bueno.

Lt. Bueno said there are injuries and that the crash remains under investigation.

The DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office is asking drivers to avoid the area of SE Highway 70 just west of the SE Highlands County line.
