Where to see Budweiser Clydesdales in Fort Myers, Naples, Punta Gorda

For two weeks, the Budweiser Clydesdales will return to Southwest Florida and make stops at Fort Myers (Naples), Punta Gorda, and Naples.

Each year, the massive horses travel to Southwest Florida. They’ve been the living symbol for Anheuser-Busch beer company since 1933.

All appearances are completely free. Eight horses are featured at each stop (including a full hitch), and there is the Red Beer Wagon.

The world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales were at Shell Factory Nature Park in North Fort Myers Thursday, March 7, 2019. Hundreds turned out to see the horse parade around and even took a selfie with them.

Here’s more information about the Clydesdales’ tour stops:

  • Thursday, Dec. 9: The Mercato, 9118 Strada Place, North Naples. 3:30-6:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, Dec. 11: The Immokalee Christmas Around the World Parade in Immokalee. 4-7 p.m. The parade will begin at 5:30 on Jerome Street. It then travels down State Road 29, Ninth, Main streets, Immokalee Drive and Immokalee High School.
  • Sunday, Dec. 12:Bayfront Shops at 465 Bayfront Place in Naples 3-6 p.m.
  • Thursday, Dec. 16: City Marketplace Downtown Punta Gorda 3-6 p.m. The horses will start at a field near the Punta Gorda Chamber of Commerce, 252 W. Marion Ave., and then travel throughout downtown Punta Gorda.
  • Friday, Dec. 17: The Shell Factory & Nature Park 16554 N. Cleveland Ave. North Fort Myers. 2-4 p.m.
  • Saturday, Dec. 18: Miromar Outlets, 10801 Corkscrew Road, Estero. 5-7:30 p.m.

Here’s more about the Budweiser Clydesdales:

  • Clydesdales are approximately 6′ tall and weigh around 2,000 pounds.
  • These horses have bay color, four white legs and white blazes on their faces. They also sport a black tail and mane.
  • Every hitch travels with a Dalmatian dog — a throwback to the early days of beer brewing, when Dalmatians were bred and trained to guard the wagon and horses while on beer deliveries.
  • Clydesdale horses can consume up to 20-25 quarts (40-50lb) of feed and 30 gallons per day of water.

The horses are usually male horse and are around 5 years of age. The dog's name is Bud.
