Jarring surveillance footage captured the scene as startled customers leaped from their seats, narrowly escaping disaster just moments before the vehicle crashed into their table. The intensity of the moment froze time, an experience blending their routine joy of dining with a sudden threat to their safety.
A different camera angle documented the car smashing into the restaurant’s glass entrance, plowing over vacant tables and chairs. It was a surreal scene that transformed a peaceful dining location into a chaotic disaster zone.
Fortunately, there were no fatalities or serious injuries reported. However, Myers expressed her relief that her daughter, who works as a waitress, narrowly avoided being in the path of the car. “She was standing right there where the car hit just a few minutes earlier,” Myers remarked, embracing the gratitude of having her daughter safe amidst the chaos.
