FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. — The Times Square clock on Fort Myers Beach stopped working, but isn’t affecting beachgoers.

Most people didn’t even notice its arms were stuck on 6:25.

“I think people are very much so confused and drunk as it is so I don’t think people pay attention to it,” says Ken Simon, from Fort Myers.

Over the weekend, NBC2 reached out to the town to see if they have a timeline on when the clock will tick again, but we haven’t heard back.
