Clarice Spencer, Fort Myers High swimmer

Clarice Spencer from Fort Myers High, who won the Babcock ranch presented News Press Athlete for the Week of September 20-25, received 44%.

Spencer won the 100 Fly ‘A’ final at FSPA Invitational in first place with 56.60 seconds on September 25th. In the 200 IM, she was second. Spencer was awarded an Athlete of the Week shirt provided by BSN Sports in recognition of her win.

Adam Belof, Bishop Verot bowler came in 2nd with 20%. Other nominees for the week were the cross-country runners Evan Meyer and Gianna Del Pizzo from Lehigh, the soccer players Andre Devine (North Fort Myers) and Ethan Brühl (Bishop Verot), the volleyball player Logyn Geren (Riverdale), the golfers Logan Eakins (Fort Myers) and Ayden Dwenger (island coast), bowler Lexi Lenius (Oasis) and swimmer Keelan Fort (Estero).

The nominees are selected based on the results and information reported every evening by the regional coaches to [email protected], and based on the nominations made by coaches and sports directors. On Monday, the next Athlete-of-the Week poll will go live at 10:00 AM. Voting will close on Thursday at 10:00 AM.
