Jennie Garth Eager to Escape LA and Embrace New Adventures!

Jennie Garth is “chomping at the bit” to flee from Los Angeles, seeking a life beyond the glitz and glamour of Hollywood.

Though her home thankfully avoided the recent fires that swept through parts of the area, Garth chose to stay with her ex-husband, “Twilight” actor Peter Facinelli, as a safety measure. Garth expressed her long-standing desire to leave Los Angeles, asserting, “I’ve always wanted to move out of L.A. I mean, fires or no fires. I’m ready to move out of L.A. I’ve always been chomping at the bit.”

Primarily working from home, Garth hosts her iHeart podcast, “I Choose Me,” which emphasizes the significance of self-care and self-love. In February, she kicked off her very first live event at the iHeartTheater in Los Angeles, dedicated to celebrating female empowerment.

Garth’s current focus is on supporting her senior daughter through graduation, along with helping her husband find a balance as he navigates his new business venture, a bar. This would allow her the freedom to move as she desires.

She shares three children with Facinelli: Luca, Lola, and Fiona. Reflecting on her love-hate relationship with Los Angeles, Garth noted the city’s allure, despite her frustrations. She said, “I hate the traffic. I’m not fond of all the people. Too many people for my preference, but I love it. It’s so beautiful, and it’s just so magical and creative.”

A self-described “big nature person,” Garth yearns for a home enveloped by trees and serenity without the hustle and bustle of city life. While she has ruled out a return to the Midwest, where she was raised, she feels drawn to picturesque locations like Whitefish, Montana, or the Rockies of Colorado.

Before her rise to fame as the iconic Kelly Taylor on the beloved soap opera “Beverly Hills, 90210,” Garth spent her childhood on a horse farm in Illinois. In recalling her roots, she expressed, “I think a lot of people definitely don’t associate me with a Midwestern lifestyle. They think Beverly Hills, which is not me at all.”

She fondly recalled, “That’s a character I played, and it was a lot of fun, don’t get me wrong. But I grew up on a family farm where we gardened, mowed our yard, and tended to the horses.” This deep connection to nature shaped her view of hard work and independence.

“We rode horses. You know, we did all the work. And my parents were educators. They showed us everything that we can do with our own hands.” Garth’s dedication to self-sufficiency shines through as she noted, “If the toilet breaks, I’m going to try to fix it before I call the plumber.”

A frugal mindset is another lesson from her upbringing, instilling a sense of responsibility in her approach to finances. “I don’t believe in spending money when you don’t need to,” she added. Garth aims to provide for her children in ways that go beyond material wealth, inspired by the values instilled in her by John and Carolyn, her parents.

The desire to leave Los Angeles and reconnect with her roots seems to be more than just a dream; it’s a quest for peace, authenticity, and a return to nature. As she embarks on this chapter of her life, there’s an undeniable warmth that draws her back to the green pastures of her youth.
