Experience Thrills: Sleep Surrounded by Wild Animals in a Safari Park This New Year!

New Year, New Adventure: An Immersive Safari Experience Awaits

Those with safari dreams can take those dreams to the next level in a new year by sleeping alongside lions, tigers, even rhinos in African-style lodges.

Guests can take part in a one-of-a-kind lodging experience at the West Midlands Safari Park in the United Kingdom, as news agency SWNS reported.

Imagine drifting into slumber just a stone’s throw from majestic wild creatures like rhinos and tigers. This unique setting, nestled just a few miles outside the bustling Black Country, invites travelers to swap the ordinary for the extraordinary.

A Luxurious African Oasis in the UK

A series of 34 luxurious lodges bring an authentic slice of Africa to the heart of England. Each dwelling offers an intimate encounter with nine distinctive species of animals, creating an immersive atmosphere where visitors can truly feel transported. It’s not far-fetched to think that, for a moment, they are waking up in Kenya.

Since 2021, when the original eight lodges welcomed their first guests, the experience has grown immensely. Originally surrounded by the graceful movements of elephants and the swift beauty of cheetahs, the range of lodges has expanded. Now, guests can watch the regal presence of lions and the playful nature of red pandas from their private sanctuaries.

Wildlife Encounters and Seasonal Festivals

Each lodge is thoughtfully situated to maximize views of these magnificent creatures. Earlier this year, the safari park added eight more lodges, which provide exclusive companionship with hippos and wild dogs. The attraction has made its mark as the first of its type in Europe, offering visitors an incomparable wildlife experience.

This year, the festive spirit took a wild turn with the annual Santa Safari, promising families a delightful journey to the heart of the North Pole – a creative fusion of imagination and nature!

For the second consecutive year, the West Midlands Safari Park earned Tripadvisor’s Travellers Choice Award. Vikki Green, the lodges’ marketing head, shared her joy, saying it’s a true reflection of the positive experiences crafted by the entire hardworking team.

Captivating Lodges with Unforgettable Views

The safari park prides itself on offering a mix of luxurious lodges and premium cottages that promise visitors an unforgettable experience. Every stay is unique, with panoramic views available depending on the chosen lodge’s location.

Want privacy? The two-bedroom rhino lodge, featuring a beautifully designed bathroom on the first floor, encourages guests to unwind in a private “chill-out nest.” For those eager for a close encounter, the giraffe lodges invite guests to gaze into the expressive eyes of the majestic Rothschild giraffes from their first-floor balconies.

The allure of encountering wild animals up close is something many will cherish for a lifetime. With cottages positioned beside red panda habitats or overlooking thriving elephant and cheetah exhibits, the connection to the natural world is ever-present.

As Green humbly acknowledges, every single team member contributes to these memorable experiences, from housekeepers to the guest hosts who warmly welcome each family. Their collective effort reflects a commitment to creating more than just a night’s stay; they strive to cultivate memories that linger long after check-out.

“It’s fantastic to see all the lovely feedback, and we look forward to welcoming new and returning visitors in the future,” Green remarks, encapsulating the essence of this enchanting adventure into the wild.
