Evolution of Reptiles, 11 a.m.
Reptiles were created around 300 million years ago. They have changed over time into unique forms such as snakes, turtles, and dinosaurs. However, they have also taken on the habits and appearances of other vertebrate species like sharks and dolphins. Learn more about the history of this diverse group by diving into the past. One of CROW’s Animal Ambassadors will be present.
The general admission fee to the center costs $12 for adults and $7 for children aged 4-12. Children 3 and younger are free. All presentations are included in the admission price. Reservations are not required. For the safety of CROW’s animals and other visitors, masks are required at all times in the center.
CROW also offers a Wildlife Walk Guided Hospital Tour every Monday through Friday, at 11 a.m. It includes a 1.5 hour presentation in the center followed by a guided tour of the hospital’s treatment areas. Finally, the program ends on the rehabilitation grounds. Although it is open for all ages, it is not recommended that anyone under 13 participate. The cost is $25, and includes admission to the center. The center can only accommodate eight people. Advanced registration is required. Masks must be worn at all times during the tour.
