Edison and Ford Winter Estates are hosting the annual Fall Garden Festival November 20-21 | News, sports, jobs


Edison and Ford Winter Estates will host their annual Fall Garden Festival on Saturday, November 20, and Sunday 21 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Nearly 40 floricultural vendors representing the entire state of Florida are available to sell tropical and native trees and plants. It is held outdoors, under shade trees, and features food trucks as well as live music.

Many types of plants will be available for purchase by the sellers, including bromeliads (or palms), fruit trees, butterflies, bromeliads (or bromeliads), hibiscus plants, African violets or orchids. They will also be selling garden supplies like fertilizers, worm castings and other gardening products.

Edison Garden Shoppe will open. They have unusual Florida and tropical plants that are thriving in southwest Florida. Also available are ceramic flower pots, flower and vegetable seeds, garden art, and gardening gifts.

This is the biggest event in the area and people will be able to buy plants from a beautiful location.Debbie Hughes is the Edison Winter Estates’ horticultural director. You will find unique edibles and natives of Florida here, whether you are a gardener or a landscaper.

Edison Ford members get discounts on Garden Shoppe orders; guests are welcome to purchase membership during this event. The mutual program offers members unlimited access to all museums and gardens in the United States.

According to guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), masks should be worn by festival-goers. There will only be a limited amount of garden carts available, so it is advisable that guests bring their own cart or other means to transport plants. Anyone who requires assistance will find help at a designated planting tent or loading point.
