FORT MYERS, Fla. — Fort Myers Police need your help identifying the man who entered the Florida Repertory Theater in Downtown Fort Myers and made campers uncomfortable. Staff said it happened Friday, July 8, on the last day of one of the camp’s two-week sessions.

The man was seen entering a usually locked area that was unlocked while campers took a bathroom break. Staff told police the man pulled out an iPad and started recording inside. He also approached the children.

At the time of the incident, about 70 kids between the ages of 9 and 18 were at the camp. In less than a minute, a staff member noticed and escorted the man off the property. By the time police arrived, he was nowhere to be found.

If you recognize him, you can call the Fort Myers Police Department’s non-emergency number at 239-321-7700.
