Joyful Reunion: Missing 2-Year-Old Found Safe After Amber Alert Lifted!

UPDATE 6:37 PM

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has canceled the Amber Alert for 2-year-old Camila Guzman. The child has been safely located.

UPDATE 4:00 PM:

In a concerning development, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement activated an AMBER Alert concerning Guzman. Authorities reported that she may have last been seen in the vicinity of Southeast Fifth Avenue, near the Cultural Park Theatre.

According to the FDLE, Guzman was reported missing around Deleon Street and Colonial Boulevard.

If you happen to spot either individual, do not approach them. Instead, notify law enforcement by calling 911 immediately.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Urgent assistance is requested as the police are asking the community to be vigilant for 2-year-old Camila Guzman. She is believed to have been taken by 24-year-old Luis Valentine.

Guzman’s last known attire included black pants and a long-sleeve black shirt, notably without shoes. Her shoulder-length curly brown hair painted a picture of innocence, a stark contrast to the situation at hand.

Valentine was reportedly wearing gray shorts paired with a white or black T-shirt, possibly donning open-toed slides. He has distinct features, including a brown fade haircut, a brown goatee, a lion tattoo on one side of his throat, and “Princess” inked on the other side.

Cape Coral Police have focused their search efforts near the Cultural Park Theater, a place filled with community memories. Here, art and humanity mingle, making it even more unsettling to think of the gravity of the situation.

Should any member of the public have relevant information or witness either of the individuals, the message is clear: contact the police right away. The interconnectedness of our community sometimes means that one small clue can lead to significant outcomes. It’s a reminder that the bond we share with those around us can lead to hope in troubling times. Each sighting, each tip, can create ripples, bringing a child back to safety and providing solace to families in distress.
