CAPRE CORAL, Fla. – The Seahawks have been flying planes for more than 40 years at Seahawks Park. They said this is the first time they received a complaint about planes flying over a home nearby.
Bones Foust said the radio-controlled planes cross the boundary line of the canal outside of his backyard and sometimes fly over his house.
“We certainly would not have built here if the noise was an issue for us,” said Foust.
Frequent flyers said they have poles and signs up to stop planes from flying over anyone or someone’s property.
Even with this, Foust said the planes have been over his home one too many times. He filed a police report complaining about this issue.
“It’s going to stop one way or another,” said Foust.
But the people at the park said they are doing everything they can to make sure this doesn’t happen, including suspending flyers who break the rules.
