A Texas couple has been charged following an alarming plot to kidnap and murder the man with whom the wife was cheating.
Omar Bishtawi, 48, and Hana Alolaimi, 35, face serious accusations of aggravated kidnapping and aggravated assault, as reported by Fox 26.
In a tense narrative unfolding in suburban Houston, Alolaimi was entangled in an affair with a man who was also married. When the man’s wife discovered their relationship, he chose to end it. This decision, however, seemingly ignited a darker path for Alolaimi and Bishtawi, who allegedly plotted both a kidnapping and a murder.
“It’s alleged you are both married to other people, and when the complaining witness’ wife found out about the relationship, the complaining witness broke it off,” the judge highlighted during a court session focused on the probable cause against Alolaimi and her husband.
The couple’s alleged scheme took an unsettling turn at a local Chick-fil-A, a familiar spot in their lives. Here, they awaited the arrival of the victim, a DoorDash driver involved in an illicit romance with Alolaimi. They parked beside his vehicle, anticipation hanging in the air like a thick fog.
Upon spotting him, Alolaimi reportedly gestured for him to join them. Yet, the tension escalated quickly; when he expressed that he had a delivery to complete, the atmosphere darkened.
