CGU Homes, a Naples-based luxury home construction and remodeling company, recently began construction of a custom private residence in Delray Beach. The 5,674 square meter house is expected to be completed by the end of 2021.
The architectural plans of the house include 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 half baths, an office, an open plan living area with floor to ceiling glass, and an outdoor entertainment area that includes a pool, BBQ area and lounge. The house is directly opposite the beach and offers the perfect view and access to the Atlantic.
“Customers want natural light to create a connection between indoors and outdoors,” said Jon Lawrence, partner / vice president of CGU Homes. “The interior designer was very committed to making this happen.”
CGU Homes has partnered with Stofft Cooney Architects, a Naples-based company, to complete the design of this unique home.
“CGU Homes has a long history of working with Stofft Cooney Architects, who offer single-family homes and residential renovations,” said Lawrence. “Stofft Cooney is not only one of the best architecture firms in South Florida, but also very familiar with the neighborhood and its architectural guidelines. This made them the perfect addition to this project. Randy Stofft has a creative take on the coastal / modern style and creates a unique home for customers. “
To achieve this nifty and modern design that homeowners envision, clients enlisted the help of interior designer Megan Winters to bring their eye for unique interiors to the project. Winters by Megan Winters Design is known for designing high-end and luxury residences across the country.
“When you think of the design of this house, you think of Coco Chanel,” Winters said. “Stylish, super chic and high fashion.”
Because homeowners like to chat, like to be outdoors, and are very visual, Winters knew the spaces were open, warm and inviting, as well as bright and comfortable. In addition, Winters designed the kitchen as a modern and ultra-functional kitchen with intricate mill details.
“All in all, this is a modern, bright, clean house that is open to sunshine and water and is filled with sleek, comfortable, high quality furniture and artwork. A state-of-the-art smart home built by a top building contractor and a sought-after architecture firm in South Florida, ”concluded Winters.
“An extremely talented team have come together to create this one-of-a-kind home,” continued Lawrence. “We are very excited to be working with this award-winning team and look forward to the end result which will be an exquisite home for our customers.”
