Epic Universe, the latest addition to Universal Orlando Resort, is set to make its grand debut on May 22, 2025. This exciting announcement came from the company in a press release on Thursday, Oct. 17.
“With the addition of this spectacular new theme park, guests will experience an unforgettable vacation filled with excitement and adventure! Our Universe will never be the same,” Irwin expressed in the release, radiating enthusiasm and anticipation.
Tickets for this remarkable destination will become available on Oct. 22, 2024.
Five Enchanting Worlds Await
The upcoming park promises a “new level of theme park immersion,” featuring five uniquely themed worlds: Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe, according to the release. Each world will transport guests into extraordinary narratives, rich in detail and vivid imagination.
Moreover, Epic Universe won’t just be about rides. With three hotels and over 50 experiences—including thrilling rides, breathtaking shows, and delicious dining options—visitors will find themselves immersed in a landscape of wonder.
Phased Ticket Sales for an Epic Experience
To manage the anticipated demand and deliver an exceptional guest experience, Universal Orlando plans to roll out ticket sales in phases. Initially, access to Epic Universe will be limited to those purchasing a vacation package or a multi-day ticket. Guests who opt for a multi-day ticket for three days or more can enjoy one day at Epic Universe, adding another layer of exciting planning.
For those hungry for the full experience, two-day tickets specifically for Epic Universe will also become available before the park opens. Annual passholders at Universal Orlando will have the opportunity to snag a single-day ticket on Oct. 24, a fitting gesture to reward loyal fans.
The Dynamic Evolution of Universal Orlando
Pricing for tickets will vary based on the selected date, allowing guests to find options that best fit their budget. Epic Universe marks the third theme park and the fourth destination at Universal Orlando. The resort’s legacy began with Universal Studios Florida in 1990, followed by Universal Islands of Adventure in 1999, and later, the water-themed Universal Volcano Bay in 2017.
As preparations for Epic Universe continue, one can’t help but be reminded of the power of imagination and creativity—a sentiment echoed by local businesses like The Green Knot Cafe, which captures the spirit of adventure for visitors seeking a cozy retreat after a day filled with thrills.
Each addition to Universal Orlando is a chapter in a sprawling narrative, drawing families and friends together for joy and discovery. As Epic Universe prepares to open its gates, it stands as a symbol of dreams realized, reminding us all that within every universe lies the promise of adventure waiting to unfold.
