Bayshore Fire crews pay special visit to firefighter battling COVID in hospital

CAPE CORAL, Fla. — Members of Bayshore Fire Rescue paid a special visit on Saturday to one of its firefighters who is battling COVID-19 in the hospital.

The firefighter has been in the hospital for three weeks fighting the virus, Bayshore Fire said. Fire crews went to Cape Coral Hospital to try and lift his spirits by making a special “window” visit.

The Cape Coral Fire Department helped Bayshore Fire crews pull off the sweet visit.
