ABC has announced Clayton Echard as the newest leading man in the upcoming 26th season of “The Bachelor.”

Echard was featured in the emotional previous season of the bachelorette fighting for the love of Michelle Young before he was sent home in one of ‘The Bachelorette’s’ most heart-wrenching moments.
Echard’s season premiere’s on Monday, January 3 at 8 p.m. on ABC.

As a Missouri-native Echard works in medical sales but plans on getting his MBA with hopes to start his own business, ABC reports.
