FORT MYERS, Fla. — Drivers in Downtown Fort Myers can expect detours and delays until Wednesday.

Pike Electric crews will be at the corner of Royal Palm Avenue and Second Street working to remove two Florida Power & Light poles from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

The road won’t be shut down, but you can expect to see flaggers diverting traffic around trucks and workers.

Pike Electric’s removal project begins Monday at 8 a.m.
