EDGE has announced construction has begun for its new 3,400 square-foot showroom at 2359 Vanderbilt Beach Rd., Ste. 402 in the Galleria Shoppes at Vanderbilt.

“We’ve been anticipating the construction of our Naples showroom for several months,” said EDGE co-principal and Diamond Custom Homes President Michael Diamond. “We are pleased to proceed with the showroom, and we look forward to unveiling a sophisticated, dedicated space to welcome clients, display our custom pieces and demonstrate our interior design, cabinetry and planning capabilities.”

Scheduled for completion this summer, the showroom will serve as a fully functioning office space and environment in which to welcome clients and collaborate on their design. The company will also serve walk-in and potential clients, discuss their goals and schedule appointments to discuss their projects in more detail. The showroom will include six private offices, three workstations, one conference room and open-concept collaboration areas with tables.

Diamond Custom Homes will complete the showroom’s buildout. All cabinets throughout will be provided by EDGE, with fabrication by premier custom cabinet manufacturer Quality Custom Cabinetry. The showroom will feature a cabinetry library with various current styles and selections catering to individual client preferences.

All glass enclosures will be provided by My Architectural Glass (MAG), a division of My Shower Door. Lighting First will provide the showroom’s lighting. All automation, automated shades, audio/visual equipment and security will be provided by Quantum AC. EDGE is partnering with International Design Source for the showroom’s furnishings.

The showroom will feature a fully functioning bar mirroring styles EDGE would design and install in a client’s home. The bar will have dark wood cabinetry, in contrast to the adjacent, lighter kitchen. It will include a bar sink, ice maker and under counter beverage center adjacent to the glass wine room. The wine room will have a rustic tone with texture tile cladding, black metal racks and warm wood colors in contrast to the kitchen with white cabinetry. A study will also be designed to showcase the company’s custom built-in design skills, as well as available cabinetry height. The front showroom kitchen will feature a transitional aesthetic with mostly white oak cabinetry, clean lines, full kitchen, freestanding island, plumbing from Ferguson and appliances by Sub-Zero and Wolf. A rear kitchen will offer a contrasting, modern style. An outdoor kitchen will feature stainless steel outdoor cabinetry by Danver.

Showroom highlights include a three-dimensional, wood feature wall which will serve as the main entry focal point; a resource library enabling clients to explore various cabinetry and fabric selections; small closet and small bathroom vignettes to showcase EDGE’s custom closet services, and a grill concept to display the company’s outdoor cabinetry selections.

“This new showroom is a strong testament to EDGE’s evolution and continued growth,” said Diamond. “Moreover, it will benefit our current and potential clients by providing a creative setting in which to build stronger relationships and better collaborate.”

The company, established in 2013 as Edge Cabinet and Space Creators, expanded its scope of services last year to include comprehensive residential and commercial interior design services in addition to its additional services, including custom cabinetry, closets, millwork and inspirational space planning, to clients throughout southwest Florida.

EDGE’s lifestyle approach to design results in layered, textured, welcoming spaces that exude uniqueness and sophistication. Lead Interior Designer Adriene Ged works alongside the team of Designer and Architectural Coordinator Karen Velasco-Carter, Interior Designer Luann Powers Gliwski, Cabinet Designers David Cureton and Alecia Thompson, Computer-aided Designer Yazan Semrein and Project Coordinator Liz Bartlett.

“The entire EDGE team focuses on understanding how a client lives, in order to create a beautiful space that is functional, comfortable and ready to be enjoyed,” said Diamond. “We partner with homeowners, architects and builders throughout detailed construction journeys to help translate a client’s vision into a dream home which is better than they originally imagined.”

EDGE is currently creating the interior design and cabinetry for custom luxury estate homes  and condominiums in some of southwest Florida’s most prestigious communities including Port Royal, Park Shore, Quail West and Grey Oaks.
