Steve Fiterman, developer and founder of Distinctive Communities™ searched parcels throughout Southwest Florida to find the perfect place to create The Enclave of Naples. He found it nestled between Mediterra and Talis Park on Livingston Road in North Naples. Too small for the large multi-family communities going up East of I-75, the 18 acres of land presented an ideal location for this exclusive new development of luxurious, large single-family homes. Add easy interstate access and proximity to Naples’ premier shopping, dining, beaches and community parks, and The Enclave of Distinction quickly became a buyer’s dream destination.

Location, location, location is still the most important factor to consider when building a new home, says Fiterman. “It gives you the freedom to be exactly where you want to be. Then select a builder who shares your vision in the models they offer.” Fiterman adds that the standards at Distinctive Communities™ are higher than most and evident in the completed homes at The Enclave of Distinctive.

An alternative for homeowners who seek the exclusivity of a high-end community without all the recreational options and enormous membership or association fees that accompany them, The Enclave of Distinction offers low density and a sense of community. The homes, described as coastal elegance, are designed by Naples architects Stofft-Cooney and built by one of Southwest Florida’s most reliable custom homebuilders, Matthew Fiterman, President of Distinctive Residential Construction.

Distinctive Communities™ has focused on essential homeowner amenities like security instead of golf, tennis and pickleball.  Security starts at the gatehouse entry made of special reinforced materials, making it much more secure than traditional lift arms. It will function as a live monitored entrance or a fully automated guardless entry 24 hours a day. Homes at The Enclave of Distinction are pre-wired for internal security, lights, cameras and sound systems, as well as two wireless access points. All of this is controlled remotely by cell phone aps.

Fiber optic cable serves as the backbone for all of the community’s communications services. A cable partnership is secured with the fastest and most efficient internet speed available for a residential community, provided by Hotwire® Communications.

Distinctive Communities™ created a beautifully designed park at the entrance with a lush waterfront pavilion open to all residents. Homeowners at The Enclave of Distinction may schedule a neighborhood party, pursue their fitness regimens, find a quiet place to work or read a book and collect the mail in this covered space that offers Wi-Fi and access to gas, electricity and water. Professional caterers can transform the area for a wedding, anniversary party or other memorable social occasion. Additionally, residents take advantage of plenty of wide-open space for picnics, games and other outdoor activities.

John R. Wood Properties has been a partner in the marketing and sale of each home in The Enclave of Distinction. As the leader in market share in Southwest Florida, John R. Wood Properties is a luxury residential real estate brokerage with over 60 years of experience. John R. Wood Properties has over 650 real estate agents and actively serves Marco Island, Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero, Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Ave Maria, and Sanibel/Captiva Islands.
