Investigators use LCSO chopper to find missing man

LEE COUNTY, Fla. – Investigators were able to find a missing and endangered elderly man who got lost in the Yucca Pen Preserve Monday morning.

The Cape Coral Police Department with the assistance of an LCSO aviation unit searched the preserve after the man and his two small dogs went for a walk around 7 a.m. but never came back, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.

The man was found deep in the trails of the preserve in a moment caught on camera.
