SOUTH FORT MYERS, Fla. — A 27-year-old Lehigh Acres woman is dead after a head-on crash on McGregor Boulevard Saturday morning.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), around 1:30 a.m. the woman was traveling south on McGregor Boulevard when she crossed the median at the Cypress Lake Drive intersection and crashed head-on with a vehicle heading northbound.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle reportedly has minor injuries, FHP said.
The crash is an active investigation at this time.
