Missing 2-month-old baby last seen in North Fort Myers Airbnb has been found safe

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement confirmed that the missing 2-month-old baby was found safe. The Missing Child Alert for Matthew Smith has been canceled as of Saturday morning.

LEE COUNTY, Fla. – A 2-month-old baby last seen in a North Fort Myers Airbnb has been missing since August, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement confirmed.

Investigators issued a Missing Child Alert for 2-month-old Matthew Smith, who was last seen with his parents at a North Fort Myers Airbnb on Aug. 16.

Lee County Sheriff’s Office deputies as well as FDLE investigators are searching for the baby. The Airbnb baby Matthew was last seen in is in the 13800 block of Fern Trail Drive in North Fort Myers.

Monica Myers, 25

He is believed to be with his parents 25-year-old Monica Myers and 54-year-old Ben Smith, according to LCSO.
