Motorcyclist dies in US 41 crash

Pedestrian rushed to hospital after Fort Myers crash

FORT MYERS, Fla. – A motorcyclist died in a crash on US 41 near Winkler Avenue early Monday morning, according to the Fort Myers Police Department.

Police said the crash happened around 6 a.m. between a car and a motorcycle near the intersection.

US 41 was completely shut down in the area early Monday morning and has since reopened.
