FORT MYERS, Fla. – One person was taken to the hospital after a driver crashed into them on South Pointe Blvd SW and Foxglove Circle in Fort Myers early Monday morning.

Crime scene tape was spotted on South Pointe Blvd blocking the road as deputies investigated the crash around 1 a.m.

Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.

No further details were immediately available.
