CAPE CORAL, Fla. – Nearly 15 months after Lauren Dumolo disappeared, People Magazine is featuring her case.

SWFL Crime Stoppers said with national attention, they hope someone will come forward to provide more information that will lead to answers.

“The answers are out there,” said Trish Routte with SWFL Crime Stoppers. “We just need to find the right person at the right time and hopefully that’s now.”

Routte said information is trickling in, and the case is far from cold.

“It’s definitely fair to say that progress is being made,” Routte said.

Lauren Dumolo’s dad, Paul Dumolo said the Cape Coral Police Department had a warrant for forensics.

“They did gather up some forensic evidence and from what I understood, the FBI said yes, that they would do a forensics profile,” Paul Dumolo said.

Cape Coral police would not confirm that.

If you have any information, call Cape Cora Police or Crime Stoppers. You can stay anonymous and be eligible for a reward.
