Seagate Development Group is bringing a modern custom home with a clean look and classic style to Esplanade Lake Club in South Fort Myers. It’s just what the doctor ordered for a couple from Detroit who is retiring to this warm and picturesque region. To help achieve their vision, Seagate is working alongside its interior design firm, Theory Design, to craft a home that will celebrate the lakeside homesite as well as selections that are equally functional and attractive.
“’Coastal’ is a widely used term to describe many new homes in Southwest Florida, so it’s refreshing to have clients from a northern state place their own spin on this theme. We look forward to coupling their unique vision with their lifestyle, while maximizing the indescribable views of beautiful Lake Como,” said James Nulf, Jr., Chief Operating Officer & Partner of Seagate Development Group.
The tropical landscape will perfectly complement the traditional exterior – white and charcoal pavers, dark gray roof tile, white façade, black windows and garage doors. Black iron-framed glass double doors will preview the lake as well as 3,500-plus square feet of living space based on the Calabria floor plan, which boasts four bedrooms plus a study as well as four full and one-half baths.
The grand foyer will be streamlined to the great room with a signature media wall, wet bar below industrial-style shelving, and a wood-beamed coffered ceiling that will draw the eyes toward the water views beyond. The study, off the grand foyer, will be laid out as a play area for the homeowners’ grandchildren, while the great room will be flanked by the open kitchen and dining area on one side and the master suite on the other. The gourmet kitchen will boast Thermador appliances – including a French door refrigerator, range top and double wall ovens – white cabinetry, and a large island with contrasting gunmetal blue cabinetry. The adjacent dining area will present a wine feature wall – tailormade for entertaining guests. The mud room off the three-car garage will include a drop zone, while the alcove off the kitchen and walk-in pantry with refrigerator will be equipped with a special counter designated for mail and groceries as well as a charging station for cell phones. On the other side of the home, the master suite will debut a sitting area with first-class lake views, a built-in wardrobe closet for all necessities plus two walk-in closets. The adjoining master bath will deliver a spa-like ambience via a freestanding tub, a walk-in shower and dual vanities against bold, black cabinetry.
The outdoor living area will span the entire width of the home, directly accessible from the master suite, great room and adjoining areas, as well the bonus room/flex space, which can also serve as a fifth bedroom. It will feature a pool bath and storage as well as an outdoor kitchen with a six-foot island and built-in gas grill with a stone backsplash. This will be followed by a custom pool with raised spa – surrounded by a clear-view enclosure for the very best look at the recreational lake and all it encompasses.
“There are countless details within and around this home that will make it very special, and we can’t wait for the homeowners and guests to experience it,” Nulf said.
This custom home is made possible in part by an architectural design by R.G. Designs.
In addition to custom homes in Esplanade Lake Club, Seagate is building custom and model homes in Talis Park, custom homes in Windward Isle, model homes in Hill Tide Estates and estate homes in Quail West.
