LEE COUNTY:
Lee County has suspended residential garbage, yard waste, and recycling collection on Monday, November 9. Monday’s collections will be picked up Tuesday, Tuesday’s collections will be picked up Wednesday, and so on through Saturday. Trash collection will also occur on Veterans Day.
The City of Fort Myers has also suspended residential trash and recycling collection on Monday. Regular household service for Monday and Tuesday collections will be delayed one day. Monday service will be on Tuesday, and Tuesday service takes place on Veterans Day, November 11. Thursday and Friday residential service will occur on normally scheduled days.
COLLIER COUNTY:
There will be no trash pick up on Monday, Nov. 9 on Marco Island. The next scheduled pick up is Thursday.
Collier County provides curbside collection services to the City of Marco Island residents.
Waste collection will continue as usual in the rest of Collier County.
CHARLOTTE COUNTY:
Charlotte County officials confirm garbage and recycling pick-up schedules remain normal at this time.
