Trader Joe’s is a household name for many shoppers, especially those looking for unique and delicious frozen Food items. From the beloved honey walnut shrimp to the ever-popular Mandarin orange chicken, Trader Joe’s is a go-to for many. Now, the store is introducing a new item that is sure to be a hit: Perfectly Pickled Pups.
Perfectly Pickled Pups are mini hot dogs that have been coated in a pickle-flavored batter and crunchy breading. This mouth-poppable frozen Food item is now available nationwide, according to a Trader Joe’s spokesperson. The idea for the item is likely inspired by the popular fried pickle corn dog that went viral in 2021. The pickle corn dog was a regular-sized hot dog shoved into a hollowed-out pickle and fried in corn dog batter with panko bread crumbs.
Though Trader Joe’s declined to comment on the specifics of what inspired this item, it is sure to be a hit with pickle lovers and corn dog fans alike. There are currently no reviews of the new snack on TraderJoesReviews.com, so you could be the first. SFGATE has yet to taste test them, but they are already getting points for the super cute name.
