Two rushed to the hospital after major Naples crash on US 41

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – Two people were rushed to the hospital after a 3-car crash on US 41 and Pelican Boulevard in Naples Tuesday evening.

Both patients were seriously injured, according to Florida Highway Patrol troopers. One of them was flown to Lee Memorial Hospital while the second was taken to NCH.

One of the cars involved in the crash was ripped in half, with one portion on the roof in the median near a tree and the other half on Trail Boulevard at the crash site, witnesses said.

FHP confirmed troopers are still investigating the crash.
