FORT MYERS, Fla.– A woman crashed her SUV into a pond outside of the Calusa Palms neighborhood in Fort Myers.

On Monday afternoon, a woman was trying to make a U-turn when she accidentally hit the gas, according to a witness on scene.

She flew off the roadway and through a gazebo before splashing into the water, the witness said.

Two men jumped in the water, swimming to the SUV in the middle of the water.

The Good Samaritans tried to help her out through the trunk but they ended up saving her through the driver side door.
